The Halloween Season is right around the corner and Six Flags St. Louis has announced an all new event presented by Snickers, Hallowfest. The event is set to take place on Saturdays and Sundays beginning October 3rd and running until November 1st. The park will be open those days from 2-10 PM, with "thrills by day" and "chills by night!"

The scares this year are going to be "reimagined" according to the adventure park, due to the safety precautions in place due to COVID-19. To avoid overcrowding, Six Flags is requiring all visitors to make reservations as they expect to have a ton of people wanting to join in on the Halloween Season chills and thrills.

During the day, visitors can enjoy the Trick-or-Treat Trail, Simply Spooktacular Storytelling, and the popular Love at First Fright and Dead Man’s Party shows will be performed on the Palace Porch. When the sun goes down, the terror unfolds! Do you have what it takes to wander the park in the dark of the night? There's only one way to find out!

Six Flags St. Louis will be taking the following precautions:

  • All team members (including scareactors) and guests 3 years and up will be required to wear masks covering the nose and mouth while in the parks.
  • No indoor mazes, haunted houses, or indoor shows will be operated; some haunted trails and scare zones will be operated outdoors with social distancing strictly enforced.
  • A limited number of nighttime scareactors will always remain at least six feet away from guests and each other.
  • Guests viewing outdoor entertainment will be separated by at least six feet.
  • Props, rides, restraints, handrails, and dining and restroom facilities will be cleaned and sanitized regularly.
  • Multiple hand-washing and alcohol-based hand sanitizer stations will be located throughout the parks for guest and team member usage.
