This community college was once the Kemper Military School. It is said to be haunted by a ghostly female cadet who was killed along the track. Her apparition has been spotted jogging around the track but disappears when it reaches the spot where she was killed. The A, C and D Barracks are also known to be haunted. In the A Barracks, a Civil War soldier has been spotted in a doorwar and footsteps and shadows have been seen. In the C Barracks, there have been reports of unexplained footsteps. And in the D Barracks, a ghostly form has been spotted standing in the window of a closed door.

I live in Boonville and used to manage the maintenance dept for kemper military school and on two different mornings when I came to office I saw the girl by the pond she was just standing there with her back to me the first time I saw her I said hey and she disappeared the second time I left her alone
