Hotel Baring
Edina, MO 63537
This historic hotel is believed to be haunted and was once a railroad stopover during the early 20th Century. The building is rumored to have more than just one ghost residing in it. Witnesses have reported apparitions, the first is believed to be a former banker who was murdered here. An elderly man has also been spotted wearing a trenchcoat ascending a flight of steps in front of the building, who suddenly disappears. The second apparition seen here is that of a young girl in a white dress, who has been spotted playing in the halls of the hotel. The third is that of a sombre woman wearing period clothing, who has been seen staring down the street with a sad look on her face. Witnesses have also reported that late at night they have heard screaming coming out of the building, but upon investigation, nothing has been found.
