Stories say that during World War II, two female students hanged themselves in the Herr House on campus. There have been reports of footsteps coming from empty rooms and other strange phenomena that have led students to believe the ladies' spirits linger here. The Jenkin and Barbara David Theater is rumored to be haunted by namesake Jenkin David, whose ghost is said to wear a gray suit.

I’m a current student and it’s pretty spooky on campus. I was in the alumni hall alone one morning to work on a project and kept seeing shadows, hearing footsteps, noises like the lockers being used, but after searching the whole building there was no one else. After reading the history, I felt pretty convinced something paranormal was happening.
