John Wornall House
Kansas City, MO 64113
This home dates back to the 1850's and is said to be haunted by ghostly soldiers. Their spirits have been spotted on the balconies and guarding the doors. The farm is quite close to where the Civil War Battle of Westport took place and this house was used as a temporary hospital for those who were injured, from both the Union and Confederate sides.

Reviews
I was at the home to complete a life insurance application for the new curator. Sitting at the dining table my eyes started watering and I felt congested. I am very sensitive to smoke. I saw the wood burning stove and asked if they recently used it. The curator laughed and said, "probably not in the last 75 years". She asked if I smelled smoke and I said yes and told her about my sensitivity. She said John Wornall must like me because he doesn't come out for just everyone. Pretty cool!
