Pretty Boy Floyd's Hideout
Kansas City, MO 64113
This home in Armor Hills, known as "Pretty Boy Floyd's Hideout," was the residence of Vivian Mathias, the girlfriend of gangster Verne Miller. In June, 1933, it was where Miller and "Pretty Boy" Floyd planned their unsuccessful prison break for their buddy Frank "Jelly" Nash. Nash and two policemen were shot to death during the attempt. After, the men returned to this home where one of their men died in the attic. For a while, strange occurrences were reported including doors that wouldn't stay shut (including the attic door), eerie sounds coming from the attic and attic lights that kept turning on. A minister blessed the home and reports say there has not been any activity ever since.

This is actually my grandma's house. I have stayed in that house in the attic and have first hand experience of something in that attic. Lights came on, the TV also came on with the TV switched to a western channel which is did not watch at that age. The scene was a shootout and when I was walking back to the bed a extremely cold gust went from the hallway into the bathroom. I never went back up there my whole life lol.
